The Port St John community is not eligible to receive a municipal share of revenue-sharing funds necessary to hold events specific to our community as other incorporated cities in Brevard County receive. The Port St. John Community Foundation is a non-profit organization formed to raise the necessary funds that if we were incorporated would be received from the county. We depend on donations and sponsorship to hold planned events throughout the year.We usually start off the year with our Annual Golf Glassic, supervised by PSJCF member Ed Rice since 2019. Thunder Over the Indian River Fireworks has become a Port St John tradition celebrating Independence Day. We also have the Fay Lake FestiFALL in November and end the year with our Annual Christmas Parade which is now over 30 years old. We also have other events planned dependent on community interest, support and particiapation such as a 5-K, Cornhole Tournament and others.
We recognize all businesses that donate Gift Certificates of any amount to be used for raffles, contests, or giveaways on our social media pages .
