Who
The Port St. John Community Foundation (PSJCF) is a public charity serving the residents and businesses of Port St. John and Brevard County. Established in 2019 by founders Andrew Procell (Freedom Air & Plumbing), Tia Mahan (Flawless Finish & Space Coast Panthers Youth Football and Cheerleading ), and Randy Rodriguez (Realtor and HAPPENINGS magazine) the PSJCF is maintained by dedicated community volunteers. The Port St. John Community Foundation in partnership with our generous sponsors, are building resources that serve our community.
Community events held throughout the year are supported by fund-raisers and donations from businesses and residents. Everyone is welcome to participate in events and meetings. Our vision is to bring the community of Port St. John together for growth, success, and to enhance the well-being of present and future generations.
The foundation is looking for students to volunteer for our events for hours towards their Bright Future Scholarships.

The PSJCF would like to introduce you to TOIR for Thunder Over the Indian River and our Annual Golf Classic.
Thunder Over the Indian River is organized within the Port St. John Community Foundation by volunteers from the local Port St. John community for the purpose of creating and conducting the Independence Day celebration in Port St. John. The proceeds from this event will be used for the Thunder Over the Indian River event and fireworks show. The Port St. John Community Foundation is a 501(c)(3) entity; your donations are tax deductible to the extent allowed by law.
This is a great opportunity for your company to receive exposure to potential business partners, help support a worthy cause and have a fun day on the links, and it’s tax deductible! You will find here the details of the sponsorship and participation opportunities for the Thunder Over the Indian River Annual Golf Classic, which will be held at Indian River Preserve Golf Course (Mims, FL) on Saturday, April 20, 2024. The day will begin with registration at 7:00 a.m. and shotgun start at 8:00 a.m. The day will continue with a BBQ lunch about 12:30 p.m. with awards, and raffle. The luncheon is included for all A special “Lunch Only” price is provided for non-golfers.
Ed Rice has been the TOIR Golf Classic coordinator since 2019. He has been coordinating golf tournaments since 1997, including 4 tournaments for Challenger 7 Elementary. His contact information is in the contact section.
